A vital resource for any true music fan. Robert's book has me jonesing for my stash of records back at my Mom's house. As you read through this thorough and insightful narrative, you will find yourself longing for the days before CD's, when a newly purchased piece of vinyl was like a work of art in your hands. I recall the hours that I spend staring a KISS album covers when I was 15; getting lost in the liner notes, and always looking forward to those inserts inside the sleeve that might be a poster, or lyric sheet, or in the case of KISS, a new swath of KISS ARMY tattoos.
Vinyl Record Collecting also contains links to a rich treasure trove of interesting web sites to visit. There are many links to collectors and fans that will help you to evaluate and determine the value of your collection. There are hints on cleaning and preserving your vinyl and most importantly, directions to places where you can find that long lost piece of history that you just have not been able to find in all of your years of searching.
